Save Image as Type helps you save and convert images from web pages as JPG, PNG, PDF, GIF, or WebP. The extension's single purpose is image saving, conversion, batch download, resize, and related billing/feedback support.

Data processed in the browser

When you choose a save or batch action, the extension may access the current page's image URLs, image files, page title, image dimensions, and related page image content so it can convert and download the files you requested. This processing happens locally in your browser. Image files and page content are not uploaded to our server for conversion.

The cookies permission is used only when a user-requested image needs the website's existing login/session cookies to download correctly. Cookies are not sent to our server and are not stored by the extension.

Data stored locally

The extension stores settings on your device, such as quality, filename format, batch format, batch limit, resize width, preview preference, an anonymous install ID, cached license status, and troubleshooting/debug state.

Data sent to our service

Our Cloudflare Worker may receive and store the following:

• An anonymous install ID for license checks, checkout, and subscription management.
• Stripe customer, subscription, checkout session, plan, and subscription status identifiers used to enable Pro features.
• Feedback or uninstall form submissions, including reason, rating, message, optional email address, install ID, user agent, and timestamp.

Stripe processes payments and billing. Save Image as Type does not store credit card numbers.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect health information, passwords, personal communications, precise location, keystrokes, mouse movement, or a browsing history list.

Sharing and use

We do not sell user data. We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to Save Image as Type's single purpose. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Service providers used to run the extension include Cloudflare for the Worker/KV service and Stripe for payments and billing.

Retention

Local settings remain on your device until you remove the extension or clear its data. License, billing, and feedback records are kept as needed to provide Pro access, manage billing, prevent duplicate submissions, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.
